As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, global political tensions spill over, and futures seem uncertain, let us pay mind to the wise words of African American writer Toni Morrison (1931-2019), who knew something of the hardship that life could deliver:

“I know the world is bruised and bleeding, and though it is important not to ignore its pain, it is also critical to refuse to succumb to its malevolence. Like failure, chaos contains information that can lead to knowledge - even wisdom. Like art.”*

At QCA, we believe art and design can be vehicles through which we can share knowledge, challenge inequities, create stronger communities and positively come together as researchers.

With these aims, QCA Higher Degree Research Candidates invite you to join them on a virtual tour, so that we may travel together to museums and/or galleries across the globe where wisdom can be found. Here, candidates will share their research and emerging expertise on artists, designers or collections in selected galleries or museums. Tours go for 1/2 hour, followed by a Q&A for our Tour Guide to answer your questions.
